Dreaming of a bold black and white wedding?
Are pastels not your thing? Or just want to have something a little different for your big day? I am here to help with your quest to find bold black and white wedding inspiration.
This was the set up from a recent open day at Alrewas Hayes, in Alrewas, Staffordshire. The venue is something else, with different areas for different types of weddings, accommodating all shapes and sizes. The modern take on monochrome really sets off this room, bringing it to life with delicate florals and bold black stationery and frames.
Flowers to wow!
Flowers were designed by Flower Design of Lichfield, who made this bold arrangement with beautiful delicate flowers, mixing different textures of white to create a huge impact for all the guests, most of which gasped. After taking in the beauty of the florals, you were hit by the wonderful fragrance of roses, hydrangea and gyp. The flyover flower bombs really steal the show, using frames from Bramblesky, who provided all the frames for this set up. The white on the black really sets the flowers off and works really well in the monochrome style.
Welcome your guests
Welcome your guests with impact. This large monochrome welcome sign with frame really stands out and can be dressed with candles and flowers which will soften the square edges. Double up (and save some pennies!) by adding your table plan to the back. This black table plan continues the bold look of this modern black and white style, what a great way to invite your guests’ to find their seat?!
Did someone say cake?
I am loving this stylised white cake with black blocks on, it’s not too heavy or dark but bold enough to carry this wedding style through. And look at it on this goreous stand with all the florals in the background. This yummy cake was made by TSP Cake.
